How hot is the spicy beef pie?

Hot enough to notice, since the sriracha is doing that work and curry powder is mild on its own. If you want the beef and potato without the heat, the scotch pie is the closer match.

What is sriracha made of?

Chilli, garlic, vinegar, sugar and salt, blended into a thick sauce. It came out of Thailand and takes its name from the coastal town of Si Racha. The vinegar is why it brings a sharpness alongside the heat rather than heat on its own.
