Frequently Asked Questions
How many people does Moroccan chicken feed?
The small feeds two and the large four to six. The chickpeas are already in it, so couscous or rice underneath is optional rather than necessary.
How is it packaged?
Made in house and packed at the counter. Pack sizes are listed above, and we can pack a different amount if you call the shop.
What spices make a dish Moroccan?
Warm rather than hot is the short answer: cumin, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon and paprika, usually with ginger and a sour note from lemon or preserved lemon. Ras el hanout is the best known blend of them. Ours uses a rub of turmeric, cinnamon, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt and cayenne.
