Frequently Asked Questions
How many people does each shepherd's pie feed?
The small feeds two, or one person twice. The large feeds four to six, so it covers a family dinner with something left for lunch.
How is it packaged?
Made in house and packed at the counter. Pack sizes are listed above, and we can pack a different amount if you call the shop.
What is the difference between shepherd's pie and cottage pie?
Shepherd's pie is traditionally made with lamb and cottage pie with beef, which makes this one a cottage pie by the strict definition. Almost everyone in Canada calls both shepherd's pie, so that is what we call it. We make a lamb version too if you want the traditional one.
